The wooden interior, the mountain view from the window, the complete silence at night — it felt like the Himalayas had given us our own little corner. The staff were warm without being intrusive, which is rare. Gangotri road is right there so we could easily get to Harsil and the viewpoints without any hassle. For ₹2,000 a night with hot water, Wi-Fi, and such a lovely forest setting — you simply will not find better value in Uttarkashi.”
