“We stayed at Devdaar Cottage for two nights before and after our Gangotri darshan — a family of six, and we booked the 4-bed room. Honestly the best decision of the trip. The room was spotless, hot water was available even at 5 AM when we were leaving for the temple, and the aloo paratha breakfast the owner’s family served us was something we are still talking about. The deodar trees around the cottage give it such a peaceful, spiritual feeling — exactly what you want before a pilgrimage. Will definitely stay again for Yamunotri next year.”
